Jim was asked to design and build a "surround" for our 100+ year old fireplace. We wanted the finished product to reflect our Arts and Craft architecture. Jim presented a sketch and we jointly made minor modifications. Jim executed the work, using his 19th century millwork equipment, and exceeded our expectations. The surround is absolutely gorgeous and we couldn't be happier!!! The work was completed on schedule and we'll be inviting Jim and his crew back for other improvements.

When we decided to have our house painted we chose to partner with LaPointe Construction, and we are so happy we did. The house turned out better than we could have imagined and the whole process was so collaborative. From color scheme decisions to stained glass design Jim was genuinely invested in our home from the beginning and it shows in the results. His team is fabulous and they are all masters of their craft. They took the standard task of painting our cottage to the next level by creating a true work of art - we could not be happier!

We live in an old Victorian that we are continuously renovating. Over the past 12 years in our house alone, Jim LaPointe construction has renovated and remodeled: 2 bathrooms, a wrap-around porch, 1 bedroom, a wine cellar, installed windows, insulated our house, and countless other projects.
